Over the past couple of weeks, Wendy’s on Ambassador in front of Walmart has been undergoing a brand remodel. This is the first Wendy’s in the Lafayette area to receive the new branding concept that was first unveiled in late 2012.
Wendy’s has had a very strong and consistent brand for years. Their last logo change is said to have been in 1983, I wasn’t even born yet. I bet you feel old now :).
The new Wendy’s remodel has some cool stuff going on on the inside. One of my favorite things that many of the Wendy’s restaurants already started to offer is self-serve drinks. I remember working for them and telling them to get with the program!
Another neat aspect of the remodel is the faux fireplace. I am unsure if it actually heats up, but it sure does add some type of ambience to the store. Other than those, the remodel is tasteful. I am a Wendy’s fan boy though. #thatneverfrozenbeef & #realhousemadechili
