February was filled with many new developments in business and construction. Some of them really caused a buzz around town and we are listing our favorites.

1. Pot & Paddle Jambalaya Kitchen takes over former 2 Paul’s BBQ. 

2. Copeland’s smaller concept is moving next to Albertsons.

3. Taco Sisters opened their second location.

 

4. Waitr moved into their first operations center.

5. Dollar Tree is taking over the former Rite Aid at the Caffery Center.

6. Lafayette’s first membership dog park, Barkopolis, makes waves with the pet lovers.

7. I Love Juice Bar starts juicing. 

8. We shot some fancy drone footage of Russo Park, which opens this Friday, March 3rd.

9. Walmart Supercenter in Carencro has an opening date.

10. Aerial footage of the new Southside High School gives us a great perspective.
