A new Vietnamese Deli by the name of Do’s Deli is soon to open in the South College shopping center. Do’s Deli is located at 2829 Johnston next to Merle Norman & Musso Shoe Repair. Below is a statement from the owner of Do’s Deli.
After 20 plus years in education, owner, Son Do is ready to bring the unique taste of Vietnamese sandwich to the Acadiana area. Do’s Deli specializes in chargrilled meats that have been marinated in a combination of spices that give it the distinctive taste of authentic Vietnamese street food. Sandwiches are served on crispy French bread dressed with a unique pickled carrot/daikon relish, cucumber and cilantro. In addition to the specialty sandwiches, Do’s Deli also offers the traditional fried rice, fried noodles, egg rolls, spring rolls, etc. We are planning to open early February so please be on the lookout for our grand opening. We would love for you to come and experience the taste of true Vietnamese style po-boy (banh mi).
